Understand which receiver settings matter and why no additional receiver-side RINEX configuration is required.

Base station and mountpoint

In the user interface, a base station represents the GNSS reference source. The NTRIP mountpoint is the stream identifier used by that base and by authorized rover clients.

RINEX logging eligibility

There is no separate RINEX subscription. Logging follows active base/mountpoint operation. The caster must be active and the mountpoint must receive an RTCM stream.

Automatic behaviorWhen a valid active mountpoint is streaming RTCM, the server-side logger records the stream automatically. No receiver-side RINEX schedule, FTP upload, or daily export is required.

RTCM content

RINEX completeness depends on the RTCM messages actually sent by the receiver. Observation MSM messages and broadcast ephemeris messages are required for complete observation/navigation outputs. Private CORS can still retain and process a partial stream, but the resulting archive may be marked partial.

Operational status

The dashboard should be used to verify that the base is connected, the mountpoint is active, and rover clients can receive corrections before relying on the archive.
